Noah is a Naarm/Melbourne based musician straddling the folk and jazz scenes. After his study in Jazz and improvisation at the Melbourne Conservatorium of music, Noah found himself drawn to the world of folk, traditional and world music. Whilst the flat-top acoustic guitar is now his main instrument, he also sings, plays mandolin, fiddle, and still plays his telecaster. Noah has been a band leader and driving force in many projects over the years including Homeward, Veto Trio, Calor, and Ensemble Felicidade; contributing many compositions with his unique flair for writing music. He has even composed and arranged for jazz big-bands. He is also an experienced teacher, having begun teaching nearly 10 years ago and building his own teaching business.
