The Squirrel Situation is a contemporary chamber-folk duo with fiddle player Jess Foot. Their repetoire consits of original instrumental pieces inspired by american, celtic and scandinavian fiddle music. Particular influences include Julian Lage, Brittany Haas and the Punch Brothers.
They form a jazz quartet performing all original music composed by Noah. The music blends elements of folk and americana with jazz, and keeps melody as it's focus.
NOTE: The Merry Men are under strict orders to be merry. All members missing merriment will be dismembered (merbership from the band removed).
A collective of guitarists and friends, Pluck! plays traditional pluckable music from around the world. Brazilian music, flamenco, bluegrass, manouche jazz and more... they do it all(except metal, sorry metalheads). They have released their first album 'Visitors' and toured throughout regional vic.
Noah also performs solo. His upcoming album 'Hutch' features a mix of originals and arrangements of fiddle tunes. His style is heavily inspired by the playing of Julian Lage and early american music.
